They have the automatic tensioner on them right?

mine has decided to be a complete and utter slag and decide so sound ever so slightly like a mouse on steroids


any way of silencing it temp before I get it changed on weekend

My 1.9TDI belt was a peice of piss to do, drop head spanner on the auto tentioner to swing it out the way, belt off, new belt on, swing it back.

on ur vag the have a clutch on the alternator if this seizes it can cause them to squeal
