this doesn't look rite to me. whats the cause of it, seems tight enough but didnt normally sit there, you can see were it was... pushed it over and cranked the engine over and checked again and its moved back

Try removing the belt and tigh tening up any bolts that are to do with it, it looks like either a tensioner or just an idle pulley

will do mate, looking at that pic again, looks like the one that its sliding off is at a angle... you reckon?

Mine used to do this. Even if I moved it back it would go straight back and soon as I started it up. Brand new tensioner sorted it for me

brand new tensioners in the watch list on the bay lol
does it not seem bent in that pic though?
