my standard throttle body on my x16xe is playing up. when its shut it sticks and you've gotta really stomp on the pedal to open it. its like the circular bit inside is somehow a fraction of a mm to big all of a sudden. its always been a bit weird from getting the car but it seems to be getting worse
at first my throttle cable felt like it needed a good clean out and oiled, so done that, then one of the pipes down by the throttle body was rubbing on the cable, so cable tied it out the way, and now the throttle body itself playing up even after being cleaned out twice with wd40 and the lasses toothbrush.
just wondered what's causing this to get stuck still, anyone had this problem before and how did you get around it?

have u removed the throttle body to clean it or left it on the car?
if playing up that much, chuck a wanted ad up and you will get one delivered to you for less than £20 Id have thought.

just left it on but opened it to clean thoroughly
got new one sorted now bud
they hard to change? coolant bottle has to come off doesn't it? what else?

loads more than that has to come off  cunt of a job.
you wont be able to clean the inside lip of the TB(properly) without removing it anyways

thought it would be. dunno weather to just wait and put up with it for now as i plan to fit a powerbox soonish. at least i got another TB that can be fitted before hand, ready to put strate on
