there is no right or wrong answer.
it all comes down to what spec turbo etc and what compression ratio you want to run......?
I take it you guessing engine spec?
I know you say you do not want comments like "it will blow up" but running a standard X16XE an wanting to make good power, you need to do some engine work?
Also do some research there was a corsa X16XE done with a supercharger, never worked right, never made good power and the car was broken for parts (as i bought the 4pot brakes off it )

engine spec will be complete bogo standard,
this is why im unknow on the compression ratio,
my old charged valver pumped over 250bhp but that was on std comp, im after reliablity with this one,
ill arp everywhere i can, ill do my own dta like last time,
so the cost will be just fabricating all the crap

due to a space issue on the corsa id have to fabricate the charger into the inlet manifold,
easly done,
also remove the need to the throttle to be on the wrong side, so i wont need a bypass valve or intercooler like my nova had
oh i miss that car

If it's on standalone I'd run no spacer plate.
