Currently have a Philips 42" that has NET Tv but it does fuck all, youtube etc but that's about it. Is there such a box that can be plugged in via HDMI to access iplayer, 4OD, ITVplayer etc rather than having to fork out for a new tv? I'm not a massive Apple fan boy so it doesn't have to be their tv thing, just looking for the easiest to use but good quality alternative.

ta!

no current apple tv is 720, the new one coming out beginning of 2012 is likely to be 1080

iPlayer won't be on there unless it's free to all users, which these updates look like Gold users only

edit; no mention here either; http://www.xbox.com/en-GB/Live/Partners
