I currently have my alienware computer set up through my sony bravia tv.

Is there anyway that i could use my computer like sky+ and have it record things when im out the house?

TBH any cheapo ebay PCI digital tv card will do the job. You can get those USB ones for less than a tenner that are supposed to be reasonable.

You don't really need a TV card if you have a decent Broadband connection.

You can't record using this service but why would you need to? The likes of 4OD, BBC iPlayer and ITV player are freely available.
