Reset my phone last night and basically telling my SD is unreadable, pull it from my phone and put it on my laptop and same story.

Its recognised by the PC so im guessing i should be able to get somethings back.

I have, files, software, music, pictures, backups of my phone etc so a lot of differen file formats.

Whats the best way?

I've used GetDataBack for NTFS, I'm sure there's one for FAT (that'll work with SD cards)

What about that Recuvva program from the people that make CCleaner? That seems to work quite well in my experience.

I tried one bit of software (ZAR) and its found everything and nothings corrupt but wont let me remove it, not sure if thats becuase it wants me to pay $60 for the privlage. Currently trying GetDataBack using the FAT32 software. Could do with getting the Ext4 parition back as well but that is not vital.

Thanks

GetDataBack is usually alright and a few people like Recuvva (never tried it) but ZAR v9 can be 'had' from the internet shops if need be.
