hey peeps ...

as the title says ... i simply wanna know if its possible to fit and run a Y26SE from a vectra b in a corsa b providing ive got everything to run it?

what extra's will i need?
will there be any cutting/welding needed etc.

anyone with any info will be appreciated =]

yes it will fit the only thing which is going to be hard is the throttle pedal, your going to have to track all the wiring from the vectra and fit it into the corsa. as the Y26SE is flybywire.

im supposed to be getting the whole car ...
so, everything i need, i can get off the vectra?

&& sorry if i sound "fresh" but whatcha mean by flybywire?

mate if you have no idea what flybywire is then this isent the conversion for you.
Means the throttle body has no throttle cable so all controlled by the ECU.
You going to have to fit the vectra pedal, and body loom so make it work, can be done but if not clued up stay away.

If you want a V6 just look at the earlier X25XE alot easier on the wiring.

ah i see ... i'll do my research first **hand over face**

had only really though of the conversion because its unusual to come across a 5 door B powered by that v6 ... && im not paying for the car so i thought i'd do it

thanks for the help, i'll look into it alot more before i go ahead with it .... is there anything else i should know?
