changed the speedo cable , and it is making a whirring noise in the speedo ? sppeds up as i go faster whats the cure to this ?

Mine does the same I sprayed Lots of wd-40 and grease down the middle of the cable it has gone a lot quieter

tried that hasnt stopped it may have to try silicone grease tomorrow pissing me of tbh might just scrap it

Ive had this with pattern speedo cables, plenty of silicone grease and use quietens them down but in the future im gonna get a genuine one!
