Those who have filled there engine mounts with silicone does it cause much virbration to inside the car?

Did this on my friends Nova redtop. Didn't notice any difference. But use some good quality clear Silicon.

Got some tigerseal here i was going to use.

Tigerseal is loads better than silicone. Silicone is useless as it's actually more flexible than the rubber part of the mounts. I've done all 3 mounts on my Nova with Tigerseal. It makes them stiffer and does give a little more vibration but not so much the car is rattled to bits. I found it was worth while and noticed the difference as it stopped the engine rocking when changing gear which was causing the exhaust to catch on the gear lever housing.

you got any old exhaust rubber hangers kicking about mark? cut a few of them up and wedge them in before you silicone/tigerseal them much better results
