There's a soft fix that seems to have worked for a few. Might be a hoax, but worth trying.
Open any App installed from App Store.
Hold down "power" until the slider comes up, then release.
Hold down home until the slider disappears, then release.
App should close down and home button is (apparently) reset.

Excellent- this 100% works but if it does fail, they can be changed

I did it to my own and my wife's and it did seem to improve upon the issue. Unsure whether it was all placebo, though.

Right need some advice here guys...
The iphone has been reset and is locked to 3.
I'm unable to restore to then jail brea as i dont have a 3 sim.
Anyway to unlock unless i get an imei one?

Afraid not mate, i used iphoneunlock to have one done recently, ultrasnow doesnt work for ios6 just yet
