Just bought myself a cheap sub and amp of a mate of mine.
I'v connected the live, ground, remote wire and the rca? wire, turned the ignition on and nothing. Only the red light showing on the amp. I'v grounded it near the rear light where some of them wires are grounded. Any help will be very appreciated!!

Try grounding it via the rear seatbelt bolts, sounds like a bad earth issue. To find out for sure run a length of cable from the neg battery terminal to the earth on the amp.
