Currently have an ethernet cable running between carpet griper and skirting, so I can connect my sky box to the hub so I can access their on demand service.

Are there any decent wireless products that do this? Something I can plug into the back of the box to allow it to pick up the Wi-Fi.

Cheers john, didn't know that.

I got their wireless booster thing. Didn't see anything about a wireless connector at the time. Will have a browse on the site.

That's a newer model than the one I have, they were giving them away free at the time.

Cable will ALWAYS be better than a wireless card.

The one I bought keeps Falling out the back of the router, usually half way through downloading stuff.

It was just a cheapo eBay one pow. Want to get rid of the wire though. Box is in the same room as the router, about 10ft apart, so connection shouldn't be a problem.

I'd always opt for hard wiring the connection if you can. It's just better.

Go grab a new cable and re-run it.

Hard wiring is better, but in this case, the sky boxes will buffer a certain amount before allowing you to watch anyway, and in the same room, wifi will be faster than it can be downloaded.

Not really any downfall.

Thats a wireless booster is it not? Already have one of those. I need something to connect my box to my hub wirelessly in order to receive the on demand service.

Might try that then. I have the box already, but it's not doing anything. Was going to re-locate it upstairs to boost the signal.

Is it white or black? Mines a tiny white square.

or you can do what I done this week, email the sky executive, complain about how badly your sky box is running, about the disgusting prices for engineer call outs and get a free call out and a free new 2TB wifi box (along with a reduced monthly DD), all while out of contract

Thats the one john said about. You can only get that if you've never used on demand on your sky box before. I have, so it won't let me get it for free.
