Ive got a Irmsher rear exhaust (twin) on my corsa 'c' and i havn't cleaned it for a few weeks now - and i tried today, but i couldnt get the dark black stuff off from round the bottom edge.
Any ideas what i can do to get this off?

I used Turtle Wax Alloy Wheel Cleaner on mine awhile back 
Did the job quite nicely surprisingly! I'd imagine something like Autosol would be better for it though

try some brasso also good for polishing any alloy parts under the bonnet
