Ive just sent an email to CossVaux about doing me a Z20LET conversion for my corsa C.
Does anyone know anyone who's got this done and what trouble they had with it?! Also is there anyone on here (namely Beardy and Lee Mitchell) who would like to give it a go.
Ive U2U'd Beardy recently and he's gonna try and get some prints for it but not heard owt back as yet - any word mate?!
Cheers all...

the prob with eng conversions on teh c is summat called 'can-bus'. the c runs this technology, its also known as multiplexing, and basically its similar to the differeces with analogue and digital/binary. instead of using massive looms they use little looms and they have bus controllers which send and receive signals along the looms-this means that one wire, apart from just carryin 12v , can also support many binary signals. now in the c, the control units are all on this can system. u have high speed, mid, and low. stuff on the high speed is active safety etc, ie airbag ecu, eng ecu. so when car is running they are always communicating with each other, sounds silly, but they basically askin each other if theyre happy with each other. on the c, there is a fault with indicators flashing fast but no bulbs out. this is due to teh body control module loosing communication with another ecu-this is where the can bus system comes in-no communication and it throws everything out. so puttin a better engine in is very hard, because u have to create a stand alone management system that will not upset the vehicle can bus multiplexing system. once sum1 creates a ecu/loom to integrate the older engines with the new technology corsa c owners everywhere will b laughin.
