Ok, i knw this has probs been asked loads of times before, but my engine management light is constantly on when am driving me car - no matter how i drive or for how long - it's a corsa b yr 2000 1.2 16v ecotec - i knw some people will recommend paperclip test - or take it to a garage just wondered if any1's had anything similar and wht the problem was???

if it isnt effecting your car/driving then would ignore it personally. Mine effected it by altering amount of air/petrol going in, so garage hooked up to their computer and sorted it for me.

your car is too new to do a paperclip test it wont work, ya car will feel like its driving ok cos ya car has gone into limp home mode, so will drive fine, ya power will be down and ya economy will be shit, take it to a garage and ge it on a computer to source the problem
