OMG right ok i recently fitting a sun strip. all fine no blubbles seem to be down properly. (I cleaned windscreen etc).
Driving to girl friends last week, 10 minutes on the A1 and the edges start curling up... (This was the first time id run with it @ speed)
so ok i left it.. as it wasnt major.
half hour later and it ripped :O
So as u can guess i wasnt happy. Had to stop n rip it all off.
Anyone know a decent place to get one that actually stick to your windscreen?
Cheers

normally the problem is you don't leave it for long enough, the first time i only gave mine 30 mins and it flew off at 60mph, second attempt left it 5hrs and had no probs at just over 100, well until MOT time...

No more than 25% of the windscreen can be obstructed. I think that's the rule, MOT-wise. But covering that much just looks stupid anyway

You'll fail the MOT if the sunstrip interferes with the wipers cleaning the window, but fitted properly it shouldn't.

Would it not be better to get it done proffesionally at a widow tinting place. I was quoted £25 to get one done, and at least you'll be able to see through it.

The wipers can go over the sunstrip, the sunstrip just can't effect how the wipers clean the window (which, if fitted badly, it could). But yeah, you'd be better off with it professionally done
