ok its an 8v sri, was drivin down the road and management light came on then went off, car now wont idle unless i let it cut out then restart it... new lump goin in next week so need a fix for a week its damned annoyin

I had summat similar to mine except it cut out whenever i took off the revs which meant whenever i had to brake just before a corner, i cutout half the time.. grr. Sorted it via auto-electrician, jus a faulty friggin sensor. Cant remember which one tho :/ but it cost about £30 to sort..

i think its the throttle position sensor

i had it on mine and turned out to be a fuse, no 22 or something near that
