ahh i had this when i cracked my magnex stainless centre section, i got a mild steel cheap centre section for a replacment, is was catchin on the bottom of the car summit terrible, the only solution it to undo the clamps and play about with it, first thing to try is to undo the back box clamp and turn the back box slightly clockwise, this normally sorts it

or save urself the agro and take it down to an exhust centre like ats, kwik fit (okay mayb not kwik fit but u get the idea) and have them sort it out.
Mine was being a right bastard and i went down their and they were playing around with it for a good hour, charged me £20 and its been sweet as a nut ever since.
give it 2 sum1 that has the right equipment and tools and u'll not regret it.
