about to buy a sportex exhaust manifold if it is still there next week

but are there any problems with fitting aftermarket manifolds, for example i heard there was a sensor or sumthin that was fitted to my standard one that wont go on the sportex one??? anyone know about this???

car is 1.4 16v sport BTW

Not sure about what the sensor does, just check some gas emission and relay it back to the ECU. Undo it, plug the hole with something non flamable and see if it makes a difference (might be noisey)

its a lambda sensor i think, or you may not be able to plug the secondard air pump things in, in that case do what i did and remove it!

no probs, like i told ya last nite im buyin the stuff now and then gonna fit it when im at home this summer

gonna be brave and try and do my manifold, springs and decat myself

and this is brave for me as i dont know which end of a spanner is which
