will never work in a corsa B, the wiring is crazy on the new vauxhalls, all the wiring is shared

Use the bottom end of it on a 2.0 16v engine to get the cubic capacity - you could even bore it out to 2.3... You could use the bottom end of the Zafira engine or the bottom end of a Frontera engine because they are both 2.2 petrols and both Ecotecs...

yep, multiple signals down wires in new vaux's rather than 1 each in the old (older) ones

You can, as it has been done before.

Apparently its not really worth while unless you can spend a fortune on a steel bottom end as the shape of the engine isn't right for high revs. By shape I mean how square it is, as in the rod length vrs piston width. It must be rod length because the head wouldn't fit with wider pistons.

Yes, you cannot tune the engine very much after because of the angle that the conrods sit at, but if you just want a 2.2 engine then it's an ok thing to do...

Saw a pic once of the Z20let (2.0 Turbo in Zafira Gsi) in an corsa C. Think it was built by Regal or Vauxhall themsealves at a tune of £10k
