you'll need a crowbar, undo alternator top bolt, lever alternator towards bulkhead with crowbar, and whilst its pushed back tighten the bolt up... job done

crowbar
slacken the top bolt & side bolt on alternator bracket, also bolt attaching the lower part of alternator to engine...
at back of alternator bracket (near bulkhead) there is another bolt, when you tighten it, it pulls the alternator back, so tightening the fanbelt
once done, just tighten up all the bolts & job done

But seriously the best way to get the alternator to move forward if its stiff is to pull on the belt, just rag the belt upwards from the middle and the alternator will move.
Tis better than prying, bending and hitting things.
(ok i lie, nothing is better than bending and hitting things)
