i'm looking for an egr valve for a corsa 1999 1 litre. lowest price i got was £109 incl pp. was £153 from vauxhall. and £130 from scrappys. i need help... i got an mot soon...

Just blank it off. You don't need it. It's a stupid EU thing that doesn't apply in this country. Will pass mot like that too.

well actually you do i thought this too but pal was foreman mechanic for vauxhall and explained that this is actually used to speed up inlet gases to the inlet manifold giving you better acclaration

putting exhaust gases thru inlet is not gonna imrove performance, blank it off and u will notice the differnence

blanking mine off improved perfomance and i have heard it from others

its an eu emissions regulation, the process reduces emissions, but regulations in eu are lower than uk so without it should stil pass mot as my vectra did

mine didnt improve performance just stopped a problem form occuring, also mine passed mot fine on emmissions with a few other mods which should make emissions a mission but they were all good
