gonna attempt it this weekend, starting friday night taking other 1.2 8v from my crashed p reg corsa into my new corsa, any body else done this? anything i should watch out for?

be sure to not get ecu's mixed up and the transpoders etc
also are you doinf just the engine and or box?

im changing from my P reg which i crashed to my k reg, they are the same engines, il change gearbox depending on condition of the k reg, not 100% on condition of the p reg engine so adam-D may need some parts off that 1.2 if u stil got it?

ive done a 1.28v -> 1.2 8v swop. was eaaasy! hardest thing i found if ya not changing the gearbox is getting the bloody thing back onto the splin in the gear box. got there tho

should only take 4-5 hrs to do and thats taking the whole gearbox and engine out the bottom....
so if yer just taking the engine out the top it should be easyer....
although u will probably spend about 5 hrs trying to get the gearbox and engine to mate up

ok then guys thanks for all this help, im starting friday night gonna get p reg engine working first, then try get engine out, corsa^dan can you do me a sort of guide to everything i need to do?
