right guys i fitted a c20xe from a calibra into my corsa both gerabox mounts are on including the one with the spacer but the front mount is no where nearit doesnt even line up ...; what am i doing frong... and the mount is defo the right one to ... it came from regal and has been changed

yes the rubber bit is there ...
i mean as in no matter what you bolt the metal engine mount to either engine or car it wont line up with either the engine or the car pending on what you fixed it to if u get me?

i see what u mean there well the thing it could be is the wrong moutn either of them unless ur certain sure the rubber one is correct id be gettin onto who ever u bought the moutn from ?
also is the engine sitting corectly ??
as craig said pics would be a good idea alot more info from a pic

what gearbox mounts are you usign the ones that came onn the calibra box or the ones on your old corsa box? you have to use the mounts from your old corsa box

that may be where i am going wrong i think i have been using the calibra mounts i will change it and see if it makes a difference . cheers

LOL, it will make a huge difference. u need corsa rear box mount, corsa passenger side mount and modified drivers side mount. Corsa shafts or fancy ones with astra/cav inner cv's and outers with modded hubs.

ive got everything i need and i am using the rear box mount with the spacers but i think i may be using the calibra

lob the spacers... u dont need them.. the linkage is far easier to get right without them...

right guys ive sorted it i was using the calibra gearbox mount... i am going to buy the modified gear linkage from lmf its £60.. will save loadsa probs i reckon
