need a sump for corsa B C16xe 1.6 16v gsi because damaged the thread were the oil draining bolt screws into!
does the Astra MK3 1.4/1.6 have the same sump fitment as the Corsa B c16xe???
check out this website, they said the one they sell for the corsa dont fit my c16xe apparently! but they sell TWO types of Astra MK3 sumps, if it fits which one do i need? GMP22A or GMP22B

It looks like the typeA is the alloy one you want. the steel one fits, but you'll need a different pick up pipe. Also from the looks of that pic you'll have to trafser all the internal baffling over from the broken sump you have.

finding stuff for the c16xe is getting more and more difficult. if i were you i would get the threaed re-tapped and use a bigger sump plug.

It depends was the current gasket looks like, as it a rubber item that fits in a groove in the top of the sump. Yo uwill not need new bolts.
Easiest option is to go find one from a scrap yard.
