My Corsa isn't consistant in how fast it accelerates. It doesn't do much until it gets to about 3.5k revs and then sometimes it pulls like mad, other times it keeps going as normal. I'm guessing its a faulty sensor or something. There's no engine management light on though.
Any ideas?

I think the problem is that you have a 1.4 16v engine

This is the problem with these engine low down you get a huge flat spot but due to the revy nature of 16v's once u hit around 4K it'll start pulling better for a while then the rate of acceleraton will slow down. There is nothing wrong with your car at all IMO.
