Will give 0 increase as it only operates at part throttle.

will stop the valve getting gummed up and blocking, but you'll still need to retain the actual valve to stop codes beign thrown up. worth £4

Reason for this post is to stop scammers taking ten quid plus off people

there are people on cs saying it costs a tenner for me to make you one an then another two three quid to post it ya - so the main purpose of this post is to let people know they can be bought from vauxhall for next to nothing

u clean your egr then put the plate on it stops the egr valve from getting clogged up as the valve it self is around 100 alone to replace

Out of interest, how much would it cost you to make one up? If I had to source material and have one cut nicely I'm sure it would easily cost £10.
Is postage free where you live?

To be honest, Vauxhall are ripping people off selling that for £4. There is a pennys worth of metal there (for a company like GM who must buy hundreds of thousands of tonnes per year) and then stamp in out. It probably costs them less than 20p per plate.

Why should Vauxhall sell anything at it's cost value? Someone has to be paid for that to be given a barcode, to produce a label, to be bagged, to be packaged, to be sent to Vauxhall dealers, to be unpacked, to be sold to a customer.

If you want a non-profit organisation, you should have bought a car from the RNIB or Help the Aged or somewhere.

I only charge that because I cant be bothered to make to many and £10 seems to put most people off. But for £10 I will make some up as joff said its time and materials all come into it

well i hope it fits, since the XE engines found in Astra's are different to those in corsas. X16XEL for example, looks like a normal X16XE, but actually has a different inlet system

EGR is the same on all X14/X16 series engines.

Intresting to know this, so if I get this blanking plate and fit it I still need the EGR plugged in and dangling in the engine bay to prevent fault codes.

Well if its not broken I shall'nt remove it, but when the time comes I shall get rid of it.

can these be got for the 1.7TD isuzu (have i spelt that right?) engine?

step dad has one in a mk4 astra estate, his EGR valve was well cacked up and his diagnostic light comes on and takes all the power away from it (like really struggles to accelerate)
