ive been told i have a common problem from the corsa, an annoying tapping sound from the engine, been told its the lifters and will be too much of a job to sort, is this true? or is it something that can be fixed, its really annoying and im keeping car till november, so would like to get it sorted if i can.

it can be sorted m8 but will be costly. i think its around £8 per lifter so if 16v thats £128 then you have to pay labour costs.
