I've heard a few different ideas as to how to convert my 1.2 8v Spi corsa to power steering but what is the easiest or cheapest way to do it?

has anyone done it on here?

I know some people will question why I would want PAS etc but I wouldnt mind fitting a quick-rack and later on maybe a 2.0 16v and so the steering will get pretty heavy then...

Any advice much appreciated

Cheers

The easiest way is to buy one that has it.

Otherwise you need pump lines, resoivor and rack from a PAS corsa, then gir uip the belt, so you'd need the alt and bottom puley to let you run the wide belt

Or go for an EPAS rack.

You don't need PAS thats why the car didn't come with PAS.

I was thinking more along these lines.

What do I need altogether?

However have seen someone selling a PAS rack/lines/reservoir etc from a corsa...if I fitted these...the C20XE has a PAS pump and then I would be ok for PAS wouldnt I...?
