I have one of these Snap Servers (1000) which i bought cheaply.
The only thing is it has a 10gb hard disk in there.

As i cant find anywhere to download the Linux based opearting system as a whole (only updates), i was thinking the only way to place a bigger drive in there would be to remove it, take an image, and then place that image on another drive... should work out ok do you think?

I just need to find a suitable program that will copy the entire disk (there is currently no files on the hard drive) onto another disk.

Also, when i get the new hard drive, do you know if i have to partition+format it first before i copy the image over?

Adam
