Hi all. Got a Corsa Flair 1400 SPi, lowered 40mm on Gmax springs... it has relatively heavy steering at low speeds, currently using 15" astra sport wheels with 195/55 tyres and my missus is complaining it tramlines a lot and bounces about a lot... it does really lol So I'm wondering to make a bit of cash back (as the car is getting on a bit now) if "downgrading" to some Astra LXi 14" alloys with 175/65 tyres will make it follow the road a little smoother and give a truer, slightly comfier ride? It's not really a stripped out racer so ultimate cornering speed aint too essential, but I dont wanna loose shitloads of grip by making the change. If I had 195/45's on me 15's I'd tell my missus to shut up but seeing as they're 55's the car looks low in terms of wheels in arches, but sits a decent distance from the ground lol...

What do ya reckon guys and girls?

The fronts aren't too far from being dead...

I'm wondering if such a change would help acceleration much aswell as its just piss slow this car haha.

I'd be more tempted if the tyres on the 14's were 185/60's though

Good question really. I run approx 30 as I'm not 100% sure of what I should run on these as they're not really standard fit...
