Think the original gearbox is slowly going, so i would like to know how much a replacement one would cost? its a 1.2 8v and how much would it cost to be fitted??

My mate said you can hear a wiring noise which he said means the gearbox is going to go, and its slightly clunky

more likely to be needing a clutch, new oil and linkage adjustment.
