Just finished putting everything back together, tried starting the engine and it's cranking over but not firing. Looked in the TB and there's nothing coming through the injector, so pulled off the fuel line and there's definitely petrol getting up there.
Any ideas? Blocked injector maybe?

well the pipes lined up prefectly with the connectors I've attached them to, so I guess it's ok. Check injector wiring and it seems fine. I pulled it out earlier, reassembled it and then tried starting the car and it just gushed a load into the TB, reckon it could be sticking somehow?

Havent checked for a spark yet, not got that far, still trying to get fuel into the engine
Fuel relay is back in place , system is pressurizing... I presume the relay will only fit in one way?

No. I meant after I'd refitted it, when I went back and tried to start it again, it dumped a load of fuel into the TB, not a spray like usual. Made me wonder if the injector was sticky?

Ok, goes like this.
No crank sensor on these engines so can't be that.
Injector seems permanently stuck open, when you turn the key to start the car, the fuel that is pressurized in the pipe gushes straight out.
Don't seem to be getting a spark either.
WTF is going on?

I have no idea to be honest. If I can't fix it for less than £50, the car's being scrapped.
It's ridiculous to keep spending money on it like I have been doing.

You can bring the car to ed's home for un-wanted Corsa's for storage if you need to... MattB's is my most recent resident because I couldn't bear to see that car on 'the pavement'.

the sealing ring on the bottom of the injector has come off or got crossed/trapped, take the injector out and re-seat it, you may need to replace the o-ring, this happened to me.

the first time it happend, so much fuel went down into the cylinders it caused hydraulic lock and i had to remove the spark plugs! be careful, hydraulic lock up can cause bent con-rods.

Replaced the seals on the injector today as I thought it could be that, whereabouts should they seat?
theres one around the top, under the electrical clip, and one in the middle above the lower filter bit isnt there?

Cheers mate, it's sat in my garage at the moment though, been working on it there and using Dad's Meriva in the meantime...
