Been having some trouble with IE since last night, the main problem is, I can't log into CS. any other site is fine though.
So now I'm using Firefox, which is annoying me...
I've deleted my cookies, internet history, offline data and checked that my security settings aren't all the way up, but still, nothing.
Suggestions?

Format C:\
on a more serious note, i would uninstall it via the add/remove component section in add/remove programmes, and then reinstall it off your xp cd or reinstall with IE7!

I don't have an XP CD for some reason.
Can I get IE7 free on the interweb?

Doesn't work with IE7 either
What could be stopping it?
when I try to log in, I put the right username and password in, and it refreshes, but goes back to the login screen
No error message, nothing.
Firefox is really pissing me off, as I can't copy image code

Sounds like a cookie problem. Do you have a firewall running? If so, make sure cookie blocking isn't enabled.

Have you made sure first and third party cookies are accepted in advanced -> privacy?
Are you running a firewall? Some firewalls (like Norton) have per-site cookie blocking features.

Hmm, I just tested it with IE6, and when you login it does go back to the login screen, but it does log you in. Maybe this is what's happening?

Strange. By the sounds of it, it does sound like a cookie issue, but if you've checked everything and made sure it isn't in fact logging you in and redirecting you to the login page then I'm not sure. You could run the system file checker to see if that solves the problem, but then you need your XP CD.

Weird one this....the only other thing I can think of is maybe logged in elsewhere....but I doubt that would cause this problem either....strange.
EDIT: Just a stab in the dark but try this: Open Internet Settings and click the 'Programs' tab....click the Reset Web Settings button and see if that works.

Since moving to Apple, I have found software related problems have gone down 45,000%.

I'm into music production and would love a G5 as my DAW but the software conversions alone would be pricey (eg. Cubase etc).
Did that work Robin?
