running a corsa 2.0l 16v with manifold decat have a f16 gearbox but i keep getting told i need a f20 does any1 know which is best ?

if you put a F20 in it the acceleration will be slower but will have a higher top end.
if you keep the F16 box which i think you should you will get faster acceleration but slower top end.
as for which box is stronger i am not to sure.

F20 box is stronger, I went from an F20 to F16 on my C20XE and much preferred the F16, as said acceleration was better.

the figures denote how much torque the gearbox can handle efficiently. an F20 box can handle 200lb/ft reliably, and an F16 is 160lb/ft
