i have just had my car looked and some1 take it 4 a drive and he says its my Pvd induction Kit that is making my car run shit he said i should put the standard air box back on does any1 have any pic of corsa sri 1.4 16v 1995 with the standard air box on coz he said there is a wire cut 4 a Sensor near the air box can any1 help

If a wire has been cut then thats the prob ind kit wont make it run shit. eel get some pictures up

Do you mean the sensor has had the wire cut when the ind kit was fitted?

yes when the induction Kit was fitted they cut the sensor of the wire is just sat there

then you need get a new sensor either from breakers/scrappy or get an auto electrician to soler a new on the end, this is what will make it run rough

because the engine needs the sensor to decide how much fuel ti inject depending on the air flow and it will run shit if the sensor has been cut as it wont be able to measure things like airflow/throttle position etc

i dont think any wires would need to be cut in the first place by removing the airbox and fitting an induction kit, maybe the ecu just needs resetting mate! ive recently just changed back to a drilled airbox and removed my K&N cone filter, doesnt realy feel much different though, fewer flatspots maybe!

like low in revs would be realy sluggish and then pick up!

i have just rang up scrap yard they have 2 corsa with air boxes on but they r 1.4 8v but mine is a 1.4 16v will that b ok
