I've been told to just take out the blub.
But i'm sure some1 will tell us that we just need to tell the ECU thats it's gone and the light won't come on.
GSI ECU?

no its a sport mate
i think you can get the code read and then turned off
you will need the bulb in there just incase of other engine faults

yeh, true, when light comes on for it then yeh u can get the code read and have it all reset, but it may come on again at some point, not to sure tho, try and see if u have acces to a code reader

From the inlet there is a thin pipe. I put a little screw in it. But there's the bit which comes out of thee exhaust.

use c16xe management, then it will run fine without an egr valve.
also a slightly higher limiter........slightly

Nice one. Thought as much. Then raise the limit on that to 7500 then sorted!

but if you want BIG power the MAF sensor will restrict it slighly compared to the MAP.
asides from that all you'll need is a loom, ecu, maf, key and transponder....and possibly a different knock sensor...and to put a new plug on your lambda sensor (possibly),,,
or just live with the light coming on on rapid decelleration.

it does exactly what is says on the tin......recirculates exhaust gas, to help clean up the emissions.....
and also fill your engine with carbon depostits...

Don't run C16XE management, it's poo and doesn't have a knock sensor.
All I did with my engine was remove the big black pump, the bit from the manifold and the plug which connected to the pump, and it was fine, no EML, no stutters, nothing.

i used a c16 head to block the hole lol.....
ive seen people tap a bolt into there tho....
by tap i mean (thread the hole) not just hit a bolt with a hammer
