Had an MOT today, car passed, but 1 of the advisories was the CV boot leaking grease.
What is involved in this getting sorted? How much does it roughly cost?
Also, my service is next due in 3.5k miles, should it last till then or is it worth getting done now? Obviously wasn't that bad because it didn't fail the MOT.
Any info would be great

Either the clip is off/coming off, or there is a hole in the CV boot. Either way i'd get it looked at, as the grease is there to keep the CV joint lubed up so if it loses all the grease it can fuck the CV joint up.

OK, thanks.
Just phoned the garage where I take my car, booked in for Friday. Won't be driving the car much anyway between now and then so all good.
Not too pricey either, about £60. He said exactly what you said Joe!
