did a stupid thing last night tried to use my key to prod something and snapped it. i managed to wegde both bits in the ignition and start the car but half of it is stuck in now. ive ordered a new key from vauxhall. just wondering if anyone has any tips for removing the stump from my ignition not really had much chance to inspect it yet

If theres non sticking out to get a grip on, your pretty much fucked. Best bet is to remove the ignition barrel assembly and have a jiggery pokery.

well the ignition swith is at the end of the barrel so i was thinking it might be open ended at the other end if i can get that off. its the last 3/4 " that broke off i was lucky to get both bits in and start it cos i was miles away from home not got a spare key either
