i have

internal-

1x 250gb
1x 300gb

external
1x250gb

i think i need more

theres no room in my case so Itd be the best option and posible cheapest in long run

Yeah i've got 1 x 250gig internal and 1 x 80gig internal. It's a pain pulling them out and upgrading cos my OS is on the 80gig drive and don't want to rebuild me PC. Would be nice to have 1 USB caddie with space for 3 drives!

buy a 500 or true 750gig HD then put inside a caddie

I cant afford to spend over £150+ on a hdd then an extra £20+ on caddie


if i can buy a 300gb for £50ish and then a cadie for £20 ish i can buy extra hdd's when needed

Netgear do a NAS which you can plug internal drives into.

Also check out the Buffalo Linkstations (Also a NAS).

I use one of these for prividing communal storage for everyone on my LAN (all the computers in the house) allowing me to play my media anywhere in the house from any machine. With the linkstation you can plug extra storage via USB (be it an external hard drive or a Flash Pen Drive)
