what do you mean? i have that router you just need either Network cards or wireless USB/PCMCIA adapters if its a laptop

and also! will the connections with the usb pen be slower than the one connected to router directly

the netgear router is superb i use it for xbox, PC etc
Cable will be faster for transferring large files but for internet etc the 54mb wireless is plenty good enough

so you'd use that set up over anything like belkin etc

as i dont wana be spending loads.. il be buying a router for myself and two cards one for downstairs pc and one for my sister!

yes they are all built to a set standard and will be compatible, mine cost £14 through work, it is unbranded but works fine.

DG834 isn't wireless.
DG834G is 54Mbps wireless
DG834GT is 108Mbps

Netgear DG834G 802.11g 54Mb Wireless ADSL Router
and the compatible usb stick to see if they will work together before buying an additional 2
