just bought some alloys of a mate of mine, had them balanced and that put them on car and now when i get to 52 mph the steering wheel shakes, i mean WTF is goin on? any ideas?????

read the other threads on this kinda thing 
could be wheels need balancing, tracking, camber, discs, pads etc etc.

actually come to think of it just thought of something dont remember seeing any of those plastic rings on the inside of alloys, what are they called????

Its the Lexus lights, take them off and it will be fine 
What nick are the tyres in, could have an egg in one of them, I think the plastic rings you speak of are spacers, mine had them

I thought that, Spacers have holes in them for the studs to go through dont they
Yeahh it will be the rings, halfords sell them thats were i got mine from for my Corsa

But i'd go for the ballencing. one of the weights might have dropped off. It's happened to me b4. I just went back, and they reballenced my wheels.
