Yes, the day has come, I now need to get rid of my precious babies that have been sitting in the walk-in waldrobe for ages. I use to have 3-4 computers running at a time a few years ago and since working I've decided all I want to use a computer at home for is porn and music.
I have 4-5 computers semi working (missing the odd component) that I want to get rid of, two CRT monitors and lots of random bits. How can I dispose of all this crap?
I'm not that interested in selling the gear, its alot of work and I havent got the time really
help

If you were near me I would say donate them to the business start-up that some of my ex-students are going in for.
Shame it'll cost far too much to get the stuff here.

You could also check if you have a local Freecycle list.

we donated a load to the IT guy who works in local schools. alternatively you could go to places that have the WEEE status or something and they'll recycle for you. places like city electrical etc

I'd take them off you, ideal hardware firewalls.
I'll get a quote for a courier if you still have them?

Local tip, ours has a electrical equipment recycle bit.
Drop them off there and they usually try fix them up and give them away.
All our work ones get sent there.
Or you could smash them up and put them in a few bin liners hope no one notices when your bins get emptied.
