I've got a K810i and love it.
Failing that price wise you can get a K800i for 89.99 brand new now, and they're really decent, i bought one last week to use my other sim in!

K800/K810/K850's are all gravy.
Infact, I'd go as far as to say that any Sony Ericsson is better than it's Nokia counterpart these days

Urgh
Horrible phones, had 2, sold both within a week of having them, the touch part will start having a mind of it's own and u'll hate the slowness while texting.'
sold the 2 brand new ones for £40
they go for anything from 20+ on eBay... 60 seems a bit steap, for a extra 20 you could of got a brand new k800i... or even better, ebay a k800i for that price, or maybe a better built phone.
my 2p's worth... u'll hate it shortly

IMO no brand is particularly better than another due to individual models varying so much these days. They all make good phones and their fair share of shit ones too.
Id start by clarifying what you need from a phone features wise, is there an interface you prefer? Or style slide/flip etc
Then pick from the ones you have shortlisted.
At the end of the day they all make calls and send txts so pretty hard to make a wrong descision. Its just a phone
