some of the buttons are not doing what there supposed to, for example the @ and the " are the wrong way round, also dont seem to have a pound sign. Its like its reset to a default american setting or something? How do i get it back?

is it xp, does it have a green box on your start bar near the clock that has us or en in it? try that

actually just right click your start bar, go into view, make sure language bar is on, right click en, properties and it shold list keyboard
