will work fine but the 1.4 head has smaller ports so you will lose some preformance


F15 gearbox would be a good shout as that is what is found in corsa sports

it could but be better off keeping the x16xe head and f13 or f15 gearbox

a f10/f13/15 but make sure its close ratio

also use an 8v flywheel instead of the 16v, will help pick up revs faster very noticeable between my own and a friends
