I got a media centre-esque case
Spec
AMD 4600X2
2GB PC6400 DDRII
X1950GT
17" LCD (looking into 19/22" soon i think)
550W ThermalTake PSU
5.1Audigy LS sound with a 500W RMS Creative speaker system (which I got for TEN QUID )
Altogether that particular setup probs cost around £600 over a few months, i tend to upgrade a piece at a time to spread the cost and always buy bits that are future proof so upgrading is easy

Only ok?? Surely you mean top spec? I run it on pretty much everything high with no drop in FPS....

Being a student I just cant justify spending so much on a GX card, especially with the way its out of date so soon I have a student friend with less disposable income than me and he jsut has to have the latest technology because he cant stand running his games on anything lower than maximum

Crap picture but my Vista PC on the left and PowerMac G5 on the right.
The PC case is about 6 years old, but it's much more up to date inside.
P4 3.2Ghz, 2Gb Ram, GeForce 7600.
The Mac's got 2x 1.8Ghz 64bit G5 processors, 2gb ram.

Does the desk always look like that? It would do my head in to have a desk that un-tidy.
I'm a tidy freak. As you can see by my picture

Under the desk's usually like that, it's usually clear on top though. It's in the corner of the room so it gets used as a dumping ground. There was more on it, but I couldn't be arsed to tidy it just to take a photo.
