I bought a Corsa 1.2 Sxi, T Reg(99) with a standard tape player radio in it.
I have tried methods of removal such as knives down the sides and putting alan keys down the small holes, but i am unsuccessful in all.
Any other ideas of how I can approach this?
Id rather not take a sledge to it

you have to use prongs that you can buy from halfords nd they slide down the sides nd unlock the cage from the stereo, then you can just pull the stereo out !!

That bolt is holding the cage in though not the player. That can be easily reached and removed once the unit is out using a socket and extension bar
