Its taken away one of my themes, and has given me an extra "search" menu on the main screen and i cant seem to turen it off or find the application and uninstall it.


Very annoying

Anyone know how to get rid?

you cant downgrade bb5 phones, unless its flash via hardware IIRC. Only way to turn search off is to disable the active standby but it gets rid off the shortcuts etc as well

ps v20 is 100% better than v13 - has demand paging, bettery battery life, speed of phone is loads better as well. I guess you must be on orange or another network that hasnt approved the update

On orange, how do i go about debranding?? And keepng the product codes???

Might be an idea to backup your access point stuff and and voicemail numbers as you will obviously loose all the orange stuff, that includes any extra apps they installed

yeah - id never look back to my branded 3 v12 - v20 has made phone so much bettery, but of an arse on with 3 though as they have there own special version of msn messenger that gives you free access via 3, however it doesnt tend to install on non branded 3 handsets
